Site design

I don't understand how to use Coranto. How do I design the site so Coranto information shows up where I want it?

Start by reading the tutorials in the Q&A section.

Good luck!

The links above are definitely useful, but I would like at add a little more generalized advice - Here's the process I've been using recently
    * If it's complicated enough, I write out a quick & dirty functional spec. (Nothing to concern yourself with first time out)

    * Build a mockup of my expected output using worst case input scerarios, i.e. excessively long headline or body copy.

    * Test the design on multiple browsers and across multiple platforms.

    * Install Coranto, turn on facelift and other appropriate addons

    * Create Categories

    * Build my input forms - (If I'm using XMultisubmit and I always do)
Dale Ray has advised me that it's best to start with granular detail
when it comes to actually configuring the files, then work your way
back. (Dale feel free to contradict my understanding here - or
expand on it as you see fit)

    * Build & test a single profile, using a single field, with output displaying unstyled or minimally styled. (I usually use <h1><Field:Subject></h1>)

    * Upload my template and add it to the profile.

    * If the single item works right, add whatever additional Customfields are needed

    * Test again. If all input display as output, You're ready to make it pretty

    * I generate my styles in a text editor (for auto formatting/color coding), or cut them from my mockup, replacing the dummy copy with the field tags item and paste the segments in the style box.

    * Once I have single page complete front to back, I'll start on the next profile.
