It's not a bug in Coranto. Flock prevents another program from accessing a file at any given moment, so if you have two scripts running at the same instant and editing nsettings, it will go to 0 bytes. Flock enabled will prevent this....
The only fixes are not guaranteed....besides enabling flock, if possible.
