I have looked for it as I am almost certain that I downloaded it once, but couldn't find it. Does anyone rememeber the filename or parts of the filename? What kind of file was it? html?

I believe there is also a script for converting the database that goes with these?

:D Found the upgrade script! :D

I would guess the attached ZIP-file is exactly as I once downloaded it in September 2003 (given by the date of the ZIP-file). I would think I used it from Newspro to Coranto version 1.20, as this was found in the same directory. I remember that I continued to use my old directory structure after the upgrade (../newspro/..).

But I am sorry, I am not able to find any documentation to go with it... guess I just followed the instruction from the web-site.

From http://www.elektrik-sheep.com/coranto/d ... pgrade.cop

Upgrading to Coranto is -- most of the time -- a quick, painless procedure. It shouldn't take more than fifteen minutes, and all your existing news items, users, and settings will be preserved. (There are a few minor exceptions to this: addon settings may not be preserved, though settings for the News Categories addon will be. As well, NewsPro addons will not work with Coranto, though many NewsPro addons now have Coranto versions.)
To begin, you must have NewsPro version 3.8. If you have an earlier version of NewsPro, this will be a two-step upgrade: first, you'll have to upgrade NewsPro to version 3.8 (see the NewsPro site) and then you can continue with the Coranto upgrade.

The Coranto upgrade process is divided into three steps, each with their own page of instructions. First, you'll download the Coranto upgrade program. Then, you'll let it convert your NewsPro data. Finally, you'll download Coranto itself.

The files for this first step are in this .zip file. Download it and upload its contents (crcfg.dat, cruser.pl, and npa_upgrade.pl) to your NewsPro directory (where newspro.cgi resides). Be sure to upload the files in ASCII mode (not binary or auto-detect).

Then, CHMOD crcfg.dat and cruser.pl 666. For a reminder on how to CHMOD files, you can see the Coranto setup documentation (don't follow the linked instructions, though, they're for new users only).

Once you've done this, log in to your copy of NewsPro. If the files were uploaded correctly, you should see a Coranto Upgrade option on the NewsPro main menu. Once you click Coranto Upgrade, you'll move to the second step of the upgrade, and you'll be shown further instructions.
