Transparent avatar?

Postby SrNupsen » Mon Jun 06, 2005 11:55 am

Hello,

my top hat image (avatar) is a transparent GIF. But it somehow doesn't look like that, still white backgroun on the grayish background of this site. In Firefox 1.0.4. Is this a browser issue, CSS, or both? kriko?

It must be something with the site, and seems to be this....
Code: Select all
<table width="" border="0" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" cellspacing="3">
  <tr>
    <td><img src="images/avatars/5610185023f2dd3b091780.png" alt="" border="0" /></td>
   </tr>
</table>

If I miss a topic like this please notify me via PM. :)

Anyway, all avatars are displayed on white background with a small white border. That is the reason your hat has white background.

Please read this thread about the border (still displayed for people without avatars).
