GPL update to this release....

Postby Jackanape » Sun Jan 14, 2007 1:43 pm

Now, it seems everything is done except for releasing this under GPL, and making sure everything is updated in regards to that in the install procedure.

We need to put together the license file now. Anyone know how to do that?

We could just link to it in the install. Say a html page on here but also include it as a text file in the package.

Here is an example from Darwine:

Wine, WineHelper, the Darwine distribution frameworks are released under the LGPL.

It was simply in the readme.html, but in our case a file LICENSE (or license.txt) would be fine.
