Change server, strange include file error

Postby ^Della64^ » Fri Sep 01, 2006 5:32 pm

Hi there, i recently moved my web site from the domani www.gamecubenext.com to the domani www.nnia.it
on www.gamecubenext.com there is a redirect to www.nnia.it so that all my php scripts are working fine because of this type of redirect.
But coranto give me a problem:

An error has occurred. The exact description of the error is:
Could not include file /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/gamecubenext.com/httpdocs/news/csql-devsubs.txt. The file does not appear to exist. Verify that this file is where it should be.
Full Message: Can't locate /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/gamecubenext.com/httpdocs/news/csql-devsubs.txt in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0 .) at coranto.pl line 75.

i cheked the server and at the addresss /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/gamecubenext.com/httpdocs/news/csql-devsubs.txt.

the file is correctly located but coranto seems unable to load it.
I tryed even with permissions but the problem is different. So what can i do?
thanks in advance.

If you moved all your stuff FROM gamecubenext.com, are you sure that this is the correct path?

Code: Select all
/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/gamecubenext.com/httpdocs/news

the correct one should be /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/nnia.it/httpdocs/news

but since then coranto doesn't work, i cannot go in the admin panel and change all the paths so how can i change them? are them stored in some config file? I cheked coranto.pl, crcore.pl and others and there isn't the path saved in the admin panel.

You could try (after doing a FULL BACKUP of everything ;) ) the following:

1. Specify the correct path near the top of file coranto.cgi
2. Do the same for viewnews.cgi
3. Open file nsettings.cgi and do a manual search and replace, where you replace all occurences of "old path" with "new path".

This way your path should be correct everywhere.

it's working :) thanks.
the problem in the moving was this: i dunno why, but my collegue made some comnfusion in the add on manager, he enabled some add on that should not be enabled and disabled other that where in use. He enabled the Coranto SQL that wasn't configured correctly and so it gave the error.
Thanks for the help.:)
