Windows ASP Server and Coranto Installation Problem I think!

Postby JLento » Mon Jan 02, 2006 5:03 am

Hello all,

Ok, I have installed coranto many times on a nix server, without too many complicated issues. Now that I am trying to do it on a Windoze server it won't work. I type in the URL to get the Coranto control and all I get is the page not found page in any browser. Below is what I did, if anyone can help I would appreciate it. This is an EDT Hosting server.

I had the company set all of the permissions to what the manual said, because there is no CHMOD on a windows server. I am not too worried about the permissions.

Next, I edited the scripts. This is where I may have a problem. They sent me the path to Perl, but I am not sure if it is a #!C:/ or #C:/ do I need that exclamation point on a windoze server?

The hosting company also sent me the absolute path, so I feel that is not a problem.

Now onto the actual directory where the script is. I am using a developmental URL right now, not a actual one. When I set the path to the script, should I use the developmental URL now, or the URL the site will actually be when I transfer the domain?

If anyone has any experience here or if you could help me I would appreciate it greatly.

Thank you,

You're typing in the wrong URL.
