Hey guys, just a quick question. I have a profile named advertising (one of many categories), but for some reason, it won't output archives by month, instead, it outputs a post title. Example is http://www.advocatusdiaboli.ca/archives.php?page=advertising. As you can see, under past months, the archive (advertising-archive-links.txt) outputs a link to a story instead of a link to previous months.

Any idea what would cause this>?

How does the style look, then?

im editing settings right now, but essentially, the "advertising-archive-links" or the file that holds the link to the news archived by month has the following output in it

Code: Select all
<a href="http://www.advocatusdiaboli.ca/news/advertising/EEZEkyykVEDdgKIpcz.php">
Skechers Needs a New Marketing Director</a></span> <span class="blue">February 11, 2007</span> <br/><!--LINK: advertising-archive-2-2007.shtml-->
which links to an article under that category/profile, but not to news archived monthly.

Yup, I can see that, but what is the style creating this output?

Alright, so I guess i must have accidentally wiped out my default archiving news style - needless to say i got it displaying properly. My issue now is I have the following code as my archive link style
Code: Select all
<Field: Month_Name>,<Field: Year>
<br />
, which needs to link to files named blogheadlines-archive-3-2007.shtml, blogheadlines-archive-2-2007.shtml, and so on. How would I go about doing this? Or is there a field I could use to do it?

The <!--LINK: blogheadlines-archive-2-2007.shtml--> is present in the page, but doesn`t link anywhere.

I think this is the default Archive Link template:
Code: Select all
<a href="<Field: FileName>"><Field: ArchiveDate></a><br>

So <Field: FileName> should be the variable you're after.

Hahaha, thanks for the reply. I actually figured it out on my own, but failed to post it here, my bad. On the plus side, that should be included in the documentation.
