Stripping Out Single Quotes

Hi all,

I am in need of a Perl snippet to remove single quotes from my Subject. I tried this in the <PerlCode> tags:

$SubjectNoQuotes = $Subject;
$SubjectNoQuotes =~ s/^'(.*)'$/$1/;

No errors, but it also failed to remove the single quotes. What am I doing wrong here?

You could try the Search and Replace addon as well, replacing each single quote in the Subject with... eh, nothing
