XMS_Profile field not working

Postby MersauX » Tue Jul 31, 2007 4:40 pm

Well, I haven't posted anything for a while now, but I ran into a small problem. I am using the Queryfetcher addon to display news and I included a link to the archive into every news item. Now, I have a bilingual website so I have two different archive folders and I wanted to display different links to archive folders depending on the XMultisubmit profile used to submit those news.

I used this code, but it doesn't seem to recognise the profiles although they are named like that, so I don't get any links displayed:

Code: Select all
<If: Field: XMS_Profile eq "Vijesti">
<a href="/arhiva/arhiva-1.shtml">Arhiva</a>
<If: Else: Field: XMS_Profile eq "News">
<a href="/archive/archive-1.shtml">Archive</a>
</If>

I hope someone can help me out with this. :)

I also tried just using <Field: XMS_Profile> in the style, but again it won't display the name of the profile.

EDIT:

I forgot to list the versions of coranto and the addons I'm using.

Coranto is 1.25.1, XMultisubmit is 2.4.3. and Queryfetcher is 0.2 (build 3)

I don't think "<Field: XMS_Profile>" is a valid field name. In fact, the XMultisubmit addon doesn't even store the name of the profile each item has been submitted via.

So you'll have to separate your news using another method, I guess.

<Field: XMS_Profile> is supported by the latest XMS version, see this post.

There is also a discussion of using the XMS profile name in earlier versions.
