do you mean something like, 10 results per page and the other page will contain the next results and so on.

Will see!

Same as I asked BillGates few days ago:

A few addional needed features (as requested since first public release):
-----------------------------------------------
a/ add search custom tags.
If you use multiple (many) profiles, it is quite difficult and tedius to write a good style, which allows you to have "headlines" (like altavista) and links (you would need the full long list of profiles and have a single category per profile and start writing if($category eq $cat1) {} elseif{} etc.).
Thisw basically means that a search a la altavista CANNOT be done with this addon!
A simple way to do this is to have internally in the search addon a simple URL find sub (as the one in URL column for example), and then a replacement of custom tags to be used in the template.

For example:
<cra_search: URL> will substitute the URL of the given result.
(and is the only really needed to enable the Altavista function and multiple profiles/categories).

b/ relevance of the result (%) [for example based on the number of times you find the keyword(s) in the news; very easily done I think]

c/ ordering the results for age (the newest news first), category, or author (with simple links on top of the page). For this you would need the parameters added to a sort of hash and order them according to the particular key/value you want to sort.

d/ Some simple boolean logic (AND, OR, NOT) in the keyword search
Coranto addons:
* GuestPost, one click guestposting
* MoveIt!, Advanced Backup and site transfer
* PartialRebuild, CPU-friendly enhancement of FullBuild
* URLColumn, URLs for multiple Categories/Profiles
* Tickit!, Javascript News Tickers/Faders for Coranto!
* AddonEnabler, enables or disables single, multiple or all addons in one go
* SubmitMultiple, post consecutive news in an automatic loop!
* RSSAdvanced, RelatedNews ....

Just a note: my addition a/ would make the addon fully compatible with Maginot (this is one of the reasons why I asked).

In fact, the addon *is* already now working and finding the keywords also for Maginot profiles because they are also inserted in newsdat.txt.
The only problem comes in designing a style with an appropriate link, as the link is profile dependent in Maginot case...
The solution is very easy as I suggested (really easy...if I have time I will code myslelf this week-end) ..

oh, I will try to keep the things in mind.

But as it turns out I have less free time as I thought.

Now I am nominated to Coranto Senate. Also next days are national holidays. And I have no idea when I will be in town (and can code) and when I will be at my summer home (where I have to do some work and go swimming and so on).

I really hope to release a new version of WebWriter also.

Kriko - you do know you don't have to accept the nomination if you don't feel that you have time, right? It is purely voluntary...

well, yes. I know that. Maybe I will decide not to participate in it.

I still would like to see how the voting will turn out.

If you know you're not going to accept it, say so now so all votes can go to people willing to do it.

Actually, you're fine to give it a think for a bit; you will have to say one way or another once we're ready to begin the voting, but that is a few days away still.

But *only* if I could post to the Senate forum. Or only the memembers who will be elected can post there?
