Separate Headlines from News Body

Postby Hidoshi » Fri Feb 24, 2006 8:59 pm

Hey all,

I'm trying to figure out something. Maybe I'm just missing an obvious function or what have you, BUT... Any help would be appreciated.

I want to be able to split my news and headlines so that two headlines appear above the news in a different style and all, but NOT in the news body itself. Is that possible? I'm afraid my experience with Coranto isn't great, so any pointers in the right direction would be helpful. Also, the headlines have to be able to stay where they are and be updated separately, regardless if I update the regular news.

Thanks in advance.

I am not exactly sure I understand which part of creating headlines you have problems with, so I just provide you with a link to more info:
http://www.sumaleth.com/coranto/ct_headlines.html

Also, doing a search here in the forum about headlines (and some keywords from the doc above [maginot, viewnews.cgi, itemanchor]) should give you plenty more to dig into...

Please come back and elaborate your question if you don't succeed...
Yes, I am still around...
